'Dia' rug is rooted in the realm of traditional design. Folk motifs are innovatively intertwined through joyful and contrasting compositions all drawing off the wellspring of Polish folk art. The colourful sound of tradition comes right on cue. 'Dia' received the Wallpaper* award for 'The Best Textile'. This rug comprises the finest wool from New Zealand due to its long, full and elastic fibers. In order to create a woven felt structure, Moho Design has restored an old Polish method; woven on looms of traditional yarn, it undergoes the process of felting. The woven felt is cut with a laser before being glued into many layers.
