'Deer' is part of a series about the reinterpretation of the codes of bourgeois furniture: a modernised, somehow abstract version of the trophy head, executed in triplicate. 'We wanted something light to stress the heavy drama that is usually associated with this object - the killing of the animal and the stuffing of the head.' The multiplex plaques are packed flats according to the kit principle. They fit together forming the head of an elk. This product evokes the construction game of our childhood days and proposes an environmental take on the hunting trophy.

Can heritage be bought? Hunting trophies call to mind those chalets in the Ardennes or the Alps that we head for during the weekend to get away from urban life. Here, Big-Game are brushing away the cobwebs from a symbol of tradition. The moose, stag and doe heads are made of plywood plates that fit into each other and are delivered in flat packages, just like building sets.
