The sekt wine cooler was designed in the mid 1980's for the Ritzenhoff glass company (Marsberg Germany). It is part of a range of glasses called "Ovoid". There is another version of the cooler with a clear glass base. Prof Colani was the chief designer for Ritzenhoff from 1979 - 1985.
