The company thrives to this day following the concept of creating new, avant-garde pieces that functionally question the modern world in products, graphics, and culture. This line was formed when STAACH sought to create a line of furniture that excused the use of hard fasteners. The resulting furniture is a very basic system utilizing techniques prior to the 17th Century. Due to its clean,
strong connection, this joinery technique is a craftsman favorite. With the application of repetition, in this design the end result is one of the most durable and sustainable structures in furniture today.

The raw material is sent to the manufacturer where it is temperature-controlled and each processed joint is then precision laser cut by an educated technician, assuring quality and generating almost no waste. The individual slats are not interchangeable; they are cut specifically to the thickness of each frame. Once all cutting is completed one slat from each piece is laser-etched with the STAACH logo to guarantee authenticity and future value. All parts are then shipped and delivered to the studio.

STAACH has decided to do all assembly and finishing to help maintain a consistent high quality product. At the studio they clean, finish, and clean the parts again, before the final assembly. The final product is the work of many passionate hands and the minds of STAACH.
