'Trice' Folding chair with an umbrella type one hand closing movement was designed for small apartments with no space for rarely used furniture. A Japanese company bought the licence after seeing a picture. Finnish companies were not interested before own production had begun and the demand grew. Amer Corporation bought all rights for the chair and they manufactured over 100,000 pieces before production was terminated as the company focused on sporting goods. New manufacturer did not succeed in marketing.
