The Peg-Lev armchair, literally "I take and I carry", is one of the premises of the current Cash & Carry. Michel Arnoult who always ardently defended the democratization of design at the expense of any creative vanity focused on flat-pack making possible the customers to carry easily their furniture, revolutionary approach for that time.
The stylishness underlined by both simple and modern lines, the use of noble materials, the great care paid to the manufacturing and finishing processes, bring this iconic and very comfortable creation a timeless touch.

'Pelicano' Armchair

Created in 2003, the Pelicano is the last creation of the French designer Michel Arnoult, one of the fathers of the Ready-To-Assemble furniture (RTA) and the flat packaging in the Fifties. This piece is surely one of the best illustrations of his humanistic vision of design and its contributions to modern world.
The elegance underlined by both simple and modern lines, the quality of materials, the great care paid to the manufacturing and finishing processes, inspire comfort and beauty to this iconic piece of furniture available in two versions : armchair and rocking chair.
The ingenious cover fixing system, enabling the body suspension makes the seating position very comfortable. Combined with the smoothly swing of the rocker you almost feel like in a hammock.
At 81 years old Michel Arnoult received for his Pelicano armchair the Price of the Museo da Casa Brasileira, showing the new generation of designers that his concept is still alive and never ceased to be topical in our global and competitive world.

Within the framework of his main project, the Capuava ranch (1939), Flávio de Carvalho designed most of its furniture, among them the famous FDC1 armchair created in the 50's. The shape of this armchair is impressive by its graphic and sculptural aspects. Tribal mask or wink to sadomasochism, this noteworthy piece was at that time very avant-gardist and remains very modern.

'Gaivota' Rocking Chair

The emblematic part of the work of Reno Bonzon is certainly the rocking chair 'Gaivota', probably the most rewarded creation in Brazil, combining at the same time aestheticism and ergonomy. Both Museum of the Brazilian House Prize and Movesp Prize winner in 1988, this creation was selected in 1990 to represent Brazil at the Biennial of Design in São Paulo.
The curved forms of both seat and back were defined by Reno Bonzon, as he sat in deep snow during a stay in French Alps and had a look at his bodyprint after standing up. Keeping ergonomy in mind, Reno wanted to reproduce this confortable form. He paid a special attention to both dimensions and balance making this rocking chair very confortable whatever the size of the person may be. The Jury of the Museum of the Brazilian House Prize particularly underlined "the principle of manufacturing giving the product its great lightness" as well as "the aesthetic qualities combined with the ergonomic factor". For the sake of environment he chose the plywood manufacturing process in order to give value to wood trimmings. Furthermore this process allowing the creation of large curves, Reno took advantage of this property to introduce the movement in his creation. The design of the rocking chair, its sinuous curves, irrevocably reminds the movement even statically represented on a picture. Elegance and confort characterize the Gaivota.

'Paulistano' Chair

The 'Paulistano' armchair was, for many years part of the lounges of the famous Athletic Club of São Paulo. The constructivist concept of the structure, made up from a single bended bar of steel, and its cover, made up of leather or cotton, procure to this armchair an aesthetic lightness and an incomparable comfort. The 'Paulistano' armchair emerges from the past to show that the purity and the elegance of its lines are timeless.

Developed in a narrow relationship with Paulo Mendes da Rocha himself, the 'Paulistano' Armchair is the only available piece of furniture created by the 2006 Architecture Pritzker Prize laureate. Until now this armchair was accessible to only collectors, Objekto, the exclusive producer of the architect, brings to all this masterpiece of the 20th century.
