Shown are Three of Four Cabinets by the Belgian Architect & Designer Willy Van Der Meeren, 1923 ? 2002.
Designed as a Wardrobe for schools in 1952, Made by Tubax.
From a school in the Belgian Town of Tienen that bought them in 1953.
The other Cabinet available is Blue / Light-Blue.
All Cabinets can be sold separately.

Condition: Scratch on the red door and slight decoloration on the grey door of the left Cabinet. The red door opens difficultly and has a screw missing. Slight wear on the sides and back of all Cabinets Due to use as school equipment. All Cabinets can Easily be restored to their former glory.

Period: 1950′s
Enameled metal doors concealing a clothes bar on one side and fixed shelves on the other side. Enameled metal & Mahogany veneer.

Willy Van der Meeren is best-known for his standing cabinet with multicolored doors which he designed for Tubax in 1952. The earliest editions are in a grey/greyblue color combination.
