A heavy-duty, high-end pair of mid-century modern end/bedside tables in walnut and chrome. Manufactured by Lane of Altavista, VA, circa 1960s, each table bears one drawer above one shelf and feature straight chrome steel band supports.
The inside of the drawers, near the opening end, are stamped with 'Lane, Altavista, Virginia' and one of the table tops brandishes a similar branding stamp on its underside, supported by 'Style No 111502' and 'Serial No 286510'.
Two fantastic, clean-lined end/bedside tables in very good vintage condition; slight discolouration to the chrome on one of the table's front legs; and on both - some slight chipping to corners, consistent with the tables' age.
