Reichsbahn (German Imperial Railway) lamp for VEB Leuchtenbau Leipzig, 1950s. Cast auminium lamp, polished. Aluminium reflector, brushed. Enameled steel lamp shade, E40 fixture for 1000 watt lamp. Original, complete. Screw adapter for fixture reduction from E40 to E27. Produced by VEB Leuchtenbau Leipzig in the 1950s, Körting & Mathiesen succeeded this company (Kandem). Lamp primarily produced for the German Imperial Railway. Dimensions H 55 cm, W 60 cm, D 35 cm. Traces of wear and age.
