Modernist rosewood sideboard, part of the Paola-collection, designed by Oswald Vermaercke for V-form, 1959. That year Belgium's king Albert married the Italian Paola Ruffo di Calabria, Belgium's queen nowadays. Sideboard with elegant feet and typical moon-shaped drawers, reminiscent of Arne Vodder's designs. Four drawers, three doors and shelves inside. Rio palissander finishing with very nice grain on the wood, especially on the drawers. Paper Vermaercke label on the back. Very good condition.
