Modernist rosewood cabinet, part of the Paola-collection, designed by Oswald Vermaercke for V-form, 1959. That year Belgium's king Albert married the Italian Paola Ruffo di Calabria, Belgium's queen at the moment. Sideboard with elegant feet and typical moon-shaped drawers, reminiscent of Arne Vodder's designs. The left part has a big door and three shelves inside. The right contains three drawers and a flip door, which can make it serve as a desk. Rio palissander finishing with very nice grain on the wood, especially on the drawers. Very good condition.
