A high-quality, solid ceramic bottle vase by Carl-Harry Stålhane for Rörstrand, circa 1950s.
Presented in graduating browns, this masterfully constructed slope-shouldered, ceramic bottle vase is a fine example of Stålhane's flair for rendering functional and decorative objects of understated simplicity. This glazed bottle vase is finished with characteristic Rörstrand base markings and signatures: a capital R surrounded by three crowns; 'Atelie'; Stålhane's distinctive monogram/initials, CHS, and finally the country of manufacture, Sweden.
