An attractive desk lamp inspired by Christian Dell.
This model is often referred to as a Christian Dell creation for Belmag. During the years of working with Swiss design I have never seen proof of this reference.
And so for me this lamp is simply a Belmag edition inspired by Christian Dell.
The lamp has been repainted and rewired.
Measuring; maximum height 83, minimum 52 cm.
Belmag ran several editions of this iconic lamp beginning in the 30's on through the 1950's.
This edition with the flat base probably dates from the 40's.
Stamped with the manufacture's mark on bottom (Belmag).
