An extremely rare chair designed in 1961 by Poul Volther, the Danish architect likely best known for his Corona chair of the same year. Featuring a knife-edge beveled seat, tapering dowel legs and spindles, and a backrest carved out of solid teak. The resulting aesthetic is a blend of George Nakashima's Straight Back Chair, and Vilhelm Wohlert's Piano Chair.
An uncommon and impressive work.
Signed with Frem Rojle branded marks.
