Delightful, or disturbing?
I find the chair delightful..

and the ottoman, frankly, disturbing.

It seems so 'artless' and out of tune with the chair.

Maybe the ottoman...
...is supposed to be a slice of toast?

I like the chair.

- 04 Aug 2008

LOL
Maybe it is toast!

Can't help feeling I'd like to see another egg yolk instead of the toast ;)

You do not like them...
So you say
Try them
Try them and you may

Seuss-esque
A mauve colored ottoman....?

says sam i am
I do love green eggs
and ham

Delightful!
I have never run across one of those... I would imagine when they were manufactured it wasn't a top selling item!

Out Of Fairness
I think the chair deserves for its audience to see a less dilapidated version ;)

Gorgeous
but I can't help feeling like the chair is melting.... or it needs Chair-agra or something...

ah-HA!
Clever, I agree well something about the chairs design doesn't sit well with me, for lack of better words.

I think its the asymmetrical thing that throws me off, if it was to the left maybe then I could think it was like a loungerish type. But it is nice, just isn't my first pick.

I'm undecided about it as well.
It's got a certain animal magnetism, but something about the asymmetry annoys me.

(Robert-- that's the identical pic that I posted. Come to think of it, you did the same thing in that wire furniture thread a few weeks ago-- reposted the same picture that I'd just posted. What gives? Are my photos not showing?)

- 05 Aug 2008

As a left hander, it is disturbing...
Were I a right hander, I would want one.

- 05 Aug 2008

I see the photos in the...
I see the photos in the first post whc. (Using firefox -- visible on both pc (xp) and mac).

William
I see no photo in the first post either.
I wouldn't have gone to the trouble of finding it, uploading it to photobucket, then uploading it here if I had already seen it here ..

- 05 Aug 2008

Hmm. That's queer.
(that my photos show for some, not all)

In that case, thanks for acting as my interpretor, Robert.

IHi William
I think it might be different browers-
it's happened before here.
Are you using Firefox?

(I'm IE on a PC)

- 05 Aug 2008

Switch to Firefox
After reading these comments, I switched over from IE to Firefox and voila! the original picture appears. I can now see the pictures of Russell Wright's house on the other thread that dcwilson posted and I couldn't before. No more IE for me. Wonder what else I've missed?

You have missed...
The freedom of non-conformity and open source.

(I'm using IE also)
