Recently bought these two chairs for a steal at an antique warehouse sale. Upon further research they appear to be (at least very similar to) Adrian Pearsall 2315 chair. Can anyone please help identify if these are originals? There are two places where a red stamp indicates "Made in Denmark"

Also- after bringing them home one of the straps on the bottom snapped. It appears to be make out of some rubber/vinyl that has become hardened with age. Any ideas on the best way to get these replaced?

Thanks!

Made in Denmark with Pirelli straps would certainly preclude any association with Pearsall.

There are a few threads archived here that cover in detail strap/webbing replacement.

Pearsall copied a lot of better designers' work but cut corners on production. Congrats on getting a pair of nice Danish chairs!
