We just had a set of Kai Kristiansen teak chairs refinished, sanded and oiled. However, there are black streaks all over which the person who did the work for us says is part of the natural grain.
I just picked this recliner and I’m having trouble confirming whether it’s a Milo Baughman recliner or if it could be something else.
I married a pair of Selig walnut lounge chairs that both needed to be refinished.
I just came across this chair and wondering if it’s perhaps an authentic Kofod Larsen Elizabeth style chair.
I can't for the life of me ID this chair. It's oak and may have been reupholstered looks like. Very heavy and most of the weight is from the seating.

Thank you all for the feedback. The black, darker areas I can live with given it’s the nature of teak after all.
Thanks Spanky. I figured that since teak is oiled and not stained, that it may in fact be more forgiving.
Picked up this Hans Olsen for Juul Kristensen afromosia teak sofa and lounge chair set last week.

Hi Mark. The previous chairs were in fact walnut where as these turn outs out are beech.
