How do I add images to a post?
You can easily add up to 3 images per post. First, your images must be hosted on the internet. If you don’t have your own server, you can easily host your images on websites like Flickr, Photobucket, Imgur, TinyPic or ImageShack which are free.
To associate your images to your message, place the url of your images in the 'associate web image' field in the submission form.
If the image is hosted on your server, the url will look like this: http://www.mywebsite.com/images/picture1.jpg
Add only the 'Direct link'. There’s no need to add fancy codes like [IMG] or <a href="
Attaching images from Flickr:
1. Sign up for a free account at flickr.com
Upload your photos; they'll show up in your 'photostream' (the catalog of all the photos you've uploaded). Click on the photo you want to post.
2. Click "Actions" (above the photo). Select 'View all Sizes'.
3. Click 'Medium 500' to see your photo resized to 500 pixels wide (photos wider than 500 pixels won't fit on Design Addict without scrolling).
4. Right-click on the photo and choose 'Copy image location' (that's in Firefox; Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Safari should have a similarly-worded option) to copy the URL of the image. It'll look like http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5056/5553544138_d6d78ez.jpg
5. Compose your post on DA. Click in one of the three 'associated web images' boxes and paste the URL that you copied in step 4.
6. Make sure that the URL you've posted begins with 'http' and ends with 'jpg'. If it begins with 'https', delete the 's'.

1. Sign up for a free account at photobucket.com
Upload your photos 'Select photos and videos'. Click on the photo you want to post.
2. Click on 'Resize', select 'More options' and select 500 pixels wide. (photos wider than 500 pixels won't fit on Design Addict without scrolling). Save a copy or Replace original.
3. In the Links box, copy the 'Direct link' of the photo. It'll look like http://i314.photobucket.com/albums/ll401/eveix/5618-1.jpg
4. Compose your post on DA. Click in one of the three 'associated web images' boxes and paste the URL that you copied in step 3.
5. Make sure that the URL you've posted begins with 'http' and ends with 'jpg'.
Attaching images from Imgur:
1. This option doesnt require signing up at imgur.com
Upload images.
2. Check the 'Edit' button and 'Start Upload'.
3. Resize your image to 500 pixels wide. (photos wider than 500 pixels won't fit on Design Addict without scrolling). Apply and Save.
4. Select 'Direct Link' of the photo. It'll look like http://i.imgur.com/35Pl6.jpg
5. Compose your post on DA. Click in one of the three 'associated web images' boxes and paste the URL that you copied in step 4.

Upload your photos.

How do I add a link to my post?
Simply add the url of the link in the field marked“associated web link” in
the submission form.
Reminder: Links to commercial websites are not welcome. We reserve the
right to delete all links or messages that we consider to be commercial in
nature.
How do I edit my post?
Below each message is an edit tool. Click on it to open the submission
form and apply your changes. You cannot edit anyone else’s message, of course.
